If you are placing an order for a school, you can obtain a discount on the website prices. For example, a copy of Sounds Like Fun is just £8.39. (Although in this instance there is a p+p charge of £1.50 per order.)
To obtain these prices, orders must be submitted using the School Order form (pdf version).
Do not use the Shopping Cart buttons on the website.

School orders can only be accepted if the delivery address is to a school in the UK.
An invoice will normally be sent to the school with the delivery - however, if you wish you can enclose a cheque (payable to Professor Brainstorm Books) with your order.

Sale or Return

You can use the School Order form to purchase books on a 'Sale or Return' basis. For example, you may wish to order additional copies to sell to parents.
Please note that 'Sale or Return' can only be used for purchases of books (not space food or any other goods) and is only available for orders made on a School Order form.

How Does 'Sale or Return' Work? An Example.

Suppose that you wish to purchase 2 copies of the book for school use and decide to order another 10 copies on Sale or Return.
On the order form simply enter the total quantity that you require, i.e. 12 copies, and tick the 'Sale or Return' box. (It is not necessary to distinguish which ones are firm sales at this stage.)
You will be invoiced for the total amount, i.e. 12 x £8.39 + 1.50 (p+p) = £102.18

Standard payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice, so at any time within the 30 days you can simply pay for the items which you have sold (or decided to keep) and return the others.
For example, if you keep 2 copies and have sold a further 6 copies, you need to pay for 8 copies (i.e. 8 x £8.39 + £1.50 = £68.62).
If you prefer, you can enclose the original invoice with the returned books and we will send out a revised invoice.

If you decide to keep any unsold books for longer than 30 days, the total amount on the original invoice becomes payable. However, you can return the unsold books at any later time for full credit, i.e. if you return 4 books you will be sent a cheque for 4 x £8.39 = £33.56

Please note
For books purchased on a 'Sale or Return' basis, the purchaser (i.e. the school) is responsible for paying the postage on any returned books.
Returned books must be received in a saleable condition.
